Shane Kirk brings more than a decade of trial and insurance-defense experience to Clark, Fountain, Littky-Rubin & Whitman’s products-liability and catastrophic-injury practice. Prior to representing plaintiffs, he served as house counsel for a national insurer and later as an associate at a prominent civil-defense firm, defending bodily-injury, UM/UIM, premises-liability, and product-liability matters through verdict. That background affords him a sophisticated understanding of how insurers evaluate risk, conduct discoveries, and prepare for trial—knowledge he leverages to develop compelling liability theories and secure full compensation for injured clients.
Mr. Kirk began his career in the Office of the State Attorney for Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit, where he tried numerous jury cases, including complex felony and capital matters, as lead counsel. This prosecutorial foundation refined the analytical, evidentiary, and courtroom skills he now applies in civil litigation.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, cum laude, from the University of Florida. Shane’s combined experience on both sides of the docket enables him to anticipate defense strategies, streamline case preparation, and advocate effectively for individuals harmed by defective products, negligent drivers, and unsafe premises.
